| (27/07/05) A few hours roving down the Don produced 4 Chub and 2 small Barbel. |
(28/07/05) Fished River Don as it rose from 4ft to 5ft up. Lost 2 Barbel. |
(29/07/05) The River Don had dropped but I only managed 1! |

| (23/07/05) Mike Townsend, Ron Clay, Adam and I (all DVSG members) fished the trent. Adam had 18 Barbel (including. 4 x 8lb plus fish) and 13 Bream. I had 4 Barbel and 22 Bream to 6lb 12oz! Ron had a good few Barbel and a couple of Bream but Mike only had the one Barbel. |

| (21/07/05) Bob Roberts and I fished a small river in Nottinghamshire, then met up with fellow DVSG member Trev Hempson. I managed a very chunky Barbel with the biggest fins, plus a Chub. Bob managed a lovely Barbel and a Bream and Trev had the biggest Barbel at 8lb 14oz. |

| (18/07/05) I had a quick look at the River Dove with Mick Nicholls and sneaked in an hour or so of fishing. Mick landed a Barbel of 6lb 13oz and I managed a Chub around 2lb. |
(22/07/05) Back on the River Dove I only managed a couple of Chub and Mick caught a Barbel and a Chub. |
