(11-14.03.07) Adam and I had a real grueller on a 4 day roach trip.  I only managed 6 proper bites (1 roach, 2 carp (see above, plus one of 19lb 5oz), 1 bream, 1 eel and 1 perch) and Adam was unlucky to have only caught 3 eels, a perch and a tiny roach.   The carp were fun on size 20 hooks and 3lb hooklinks though.

(22.02.07) I fished a coloured River Test and caught brown trout, sea trout, grayling, roach, perch, dace and gudgeon. (23.02.07) The Kennet had 2ft of extra water on so I struggled for some perch, dace, bleak and roach (24.02.07) On the FishingMagic.com fish in on the River Itchen I struggled for 3 grayling, a salmon parr and 4 trout (if you include the same fish twice!) (14.03.07) I managed 3 small barbel from the Don in the last few hours of the river season.

(19-20.02.07) Adam and I fished midlands gravel pit for roach and although we only managed one each they were both new personal bests.  The bonus fish weren't bad either, but I lost two very big carp and had another three roach come off.  (ps. you'll have to excuse two pictures of each roach, but I reckon it'll be a good while before either of us catch a bigger one.)
